The study of the uррег рагt of the section includes а wide range of the tasks, beginning from integrity of the roadway research, archaeology and endingthe search for aquifers at а depth of 300-400 m. One of the common methods of studying of the upper рагt of the section is near-field transient electromagnetic sounding. The use of modern digital soft-measuring complexes, such as FastSnap, make it possiЫe to extend the capabllities of shallow near-field ТЕМ and to bringthe solution of the proЫem of the study of the upper рагt of the section geoelectrical properties to а qualitatively new level of detail and working processabllity. lt is important that the results of the research of shallow near-field ТЕМ are confirmed Ьу the subsequent drilling and it allows of giving an objective appraisal of the method's ample opportunities.......

The integrated system for processing and inversion of transient electromagnetic sounding data

Research methods of transient electromagnetic soundings are widely used to solve а variety of deep and shallow geological proЫems. Measurements usually are made with the help of digital measuring systems in which digital processing procedures are widely used for data processing. However, the use of certain algorithms could lead to distortions of the frequency response of informative part of the signals that affect the reliabllity oftheir interpretation. As а result, additional measures are needed, in some way compensating distortion, inserted while the processing procedure. The author presents an integrated approach to processing and inversion of nearfield ТЕМ data that allows to use the full Arsenal of DSP and at the same time provides automatic accounting of distortions, resulting from the processing, improving the accuracy of interpretation of the received material.......
