Lithology forecast on the results of 2D-3C seismic exploration works in the North area of Caspian sea with use of the bottom cable acquisition systems

The seismic exploration works have been carried out with use of Sea-Ray-100 bottom cable acquisition system with MEMS DSU-3 self-leveling sensors together with hydrophone (4C) as a unit. The task was - to demonstrate efficiency: (1) of recording of the components of PP wave field (compression-refraction waves), PSx, PSy (converted wave reflections with different polarization), (2) of processing of the appropriate wave fields and (3) of interpretation of processed data with assessment of an advantage of PP and PS elastic attributes joint inversion over simultaneous inversion with PP waves use only.......

Efficiency of marine seismic sources in the maximum shallow depth conditions

The article provides an estimation of marine seismic sources efficiency in the sea maximum shallow depth conditions for two variants of their application - in the exercise of towing in the water layer and on application in the shallow wells as a downhole sources for exciting pulse directly into the under sea floor formation. In the article is considered the influence of the main factors on characteristics of seismic signals, which are registered with the receiving devices on the base of hydrophones and geophones. On the results of comparative analysis of the towed and downhole sources, carried out on the basis of theoretical calculations and real experimental-methodical tests, it was concluded that in the sea maximum shallow depth conditions the downhole sources are more efficient, particularly in aggregate with geophones.......

Feel the difference! On the experience in development and implementation of highly sensitive seismic sensors of a new generation

The article presents the results of experimental field work with the use of highly sensitive seismic sensors of a new generation MTSS-1021, made on the basis of molecular-electronic transducers, geophones GX-20 and wireless seismic data acquisition system "SCOUT". The obtained results show great prospects for the introduction of highly sensitive molecular-electronic seismic sensors in geophysical survey. Currently, a new sensor model, with the same sensitivity is developed but now without deficiencies identified during the tests.......

The observation and physical interpretation of seismoelectrical effect on gas condensate field in electromagnetic and seismic noise of the earth

The article provides a quantitative estimation of the electric field of hydrocarbon reservoir on the Earth surface under the influence of seismic disturbances. The model of the gas pool is interpreted as the capacitor with the external electrodes bounded by the host rock and with the internal part that can be described as the medium with dielectric constant different from the host rock. The charge, accumulated from the static electrical field of the Earth, changes in synchronism with actuating noise vibration. As a result, the secondary electric field appears on the surface. The model was confirmed in 2016 by experimental results of observation of seismic-electric effect in Bystrianska area of Minusinsk gas-condensate field.......
