Development of fracture prediction methods on the base of seismic 3D requires improvement of direct fracture measuring borehole equipment

The authors briefly describe the recent results in the field of fracture prediction by seismic 3D. By many years' investigation experience of fracture reservoirs in East Siberia they've come to the conclusion that direct fracture measuring technologies in open drilled wellbores (usually horizontal) must be Improved.
